where’s my credit?

…and now, another reason why life is not fair…

Have you ever noticed that when you special order food at the fast food joint they will gladly remove items from the sandwich for free, but as soon as you add something that was not originally part of the predetermined toppings they tack on an extra fee? Why can’t I trade that nasty tomato for some extra cheese?

class

what does it take to have real class? anyone can be nice to their friends or people they wish were their friends. that takes no effort. anyone who is already well-to-do (physically, financially, etc.) who acts like they are better than others, is just plain ole snobby, i.e., without class. if they are so wonderful, why don’t they display it? i think the person who treats others equally has the most class…and that is the class person i prefer.

Character Name = Character’s Personality

I can remember learning that there is a word/term that describes the use of a character’s personality trait as their name. Just about all of the Smurf’s names or the Seven Dwarves are examples of this practice. The thing is, I can’t seem to locate the word in any dictionary, and I may or may not have my definition exactly correct. I want to be clear that this is unrelated to onomatopeia; although, it may have been taught at the same time. So do you think you can help refresh my memory or deny the exsistance of my sought-out word/term?

Yall know what this is…

For that past umpteen years (it seems) there has been released a handful of popular music where, within the very first few seconds (less than 20) 0f the song, some guy says, “Yall know what this is!”

We do? What if this was the first time I ever heard this song? What if your song never made it on the charts? More importantly, and the reason for my comments: Why do you think it is necessary to tell me that I know what it is on every single song?!?
